What does managed mean?

Managed means we proactively help oversee your computers, servers, and cloud environment, such as Microsoft 365. Rather than only reacting when something breaks, we monitor security, device health, backups, updates, and alerts so potential issues can be identified earlier and managed more consistently.

What is a Managed IT Plan?

A Managed IT Plan is an ongoing service that helps keep your technology secure, maintained, monitored, and supported. It can include security monitoring, patching, device health checks, backup monitoring, Microsoft 365 protection, helpdesk support, asset management, and regular maintenance depending on the plan you choose.

What is Managed Detection and Response?

Managed Detection and Response, often called MDR, is a security service that monitors devices for suspicious activity and helps respond to threats. It adds a human review and response layer on top of security technology so suspicious activity can be investigated and acted on faster.

Why do you use Microsoft Defender with managed security?

Microsoft Defender provides strong core protection across modern Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. We combine those capabilities with managed monitoring, review, and response so threats are not just detected by software, but also surfaced for human-led action where required.

What is Identity Threat Detection and Response for Microsoft 365?

Identity Threat Detection and Response, often called ITDR, helps protect Microsoft 365 accounts from identity-based attacks such as compromised accounts, suspicious sign-ins, risky access patterns, or unusual user behaviour. This is important because many cyber attacks now start with stolen or abused user accounts.

What do your managed backups cover?

Backup coverage depends on the plan and environment. Managed backup options may include user files, server and application data, Microsoft 365 email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other agreed backup sources. The goal is to make sure important business data is protected, monitored, and recoverable when needed.

What are managed updates and third-party patching?

Managed updates help keep Windows and commonly used third-party applications current with security and stability updates. This may include software such as browsers, Adobe Reader, Java, and other supported applications. We monitor update status so failed or missing updates can be identified and followed up.

What does hardware and operating system monitoring include?

Monitoring can include a range of device health signals, such as antivirus status, disk health, low disk space, device errors, operating system problems, update failures, and compatibility signals. Not every issue can be detected automatically, so user reporting is still important when something does not feel right.

What happens behind the scenes?

Automation helps collect health checks, security events, backup alerts, update status, and device information. Our team reviews alerts and dashboards, then responds through ticketing workflows where action is needed. The aim is to reduce avoidable downtime and catch issues before they become bigger problems.

Which Managed IT Plan is best for a small business?

Security+ is a good starting point if you need cyber security, patching, and monitoring. Standard is better if you also want Microsoft 365 backup, management tools, and included monthly support. Premium is best if your team needs unlimited phone and remote support. Premium+ adds Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing.

Do your Managed IT Plans help with cyber insurance?

Requirements vary between insurers, so we recommend checking your specific policy.

Is Microsoft 365 included?

Microsoft 365 licensing is included in Managed Premium+. Other plans may include Microsoft 365 security, backup, or management features depending on the plan, but the Microsoft 365 Business Premium licence bundle is part of Premium+.

What is the difference between Managed Premium and Managed Premium+?

Managed Premium includes the complete managed IT service experience, including unlimited phone and remote support. Managed Premium+ adds Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing, making it a better fit for businesses that want IT support, security, and Microsoft 365 licensing bundled together.

How do I raise a support ticket?

Managed customers can raise a ticket through the Just In Tech support agent on their device, through our support page, by email, or by calling us on 06 843 8363. We will log, triage, and track the request so it can be managed properly.

How are Managed IT Plans billed?

Managed IT Plans are generally billed monthly and are usually based on active managed assets such as computers and servers. Included support, onsite work, additional projects, and excess work depend on the plan and agreement. We will confirm billing details, inclusions, and any exclusions before you proceed.

Does included support roll over?

Included support allowances do not usually roll over month to month. Larger projects, onboarding work, major changes, or onsite work may be quoted or billed separately depending on the scope and plan.
